Our Services include:

Laser Cutting:

We have an Epilog 50 Watt laser cutter with a 12”X24” cutting bed. The machine takes an .AI or .SVG file, but if you don’t yet have such a file, we also offer design services to help get your designs into the proper digital form. We have wood (medium density fiberboard) in 1/4” and 1/8” and acrylic in 1/4” and 1/8” available for cutting. We can also cut on paper and felt but do not have those available on site. We also can engrave on any of the previously mentioned materials, including glass and stone.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a 3-5 day turnaround for all jobs on the laser cutter.

Extrusion (Plastic) Printing:

We have a small fine detail plastic printer that print with 1.75 ADs filament. We have a limited range of colors available onsite. Customers may purchase additional colors through http://3dprinterstuff.com/

ZCorp 650 Powder Printer:

Our ZCorp powder printer prints on a 15 in X 12 in. bed. The bed can print up to ten inches deep.

We work with vendors to provide you with more materials than we can stock on site. This includes:

Alumide – nylon plastic filled with aluminum dust

  •  available finishes in alumide and polished alumide.

  • medium strength, medium detail, medium smoothness, low flexibility, low glossiness, low transparency
  • NOT watertight, NOT dishwasher safe, NOT recyclable, NOT foodsafe
  • heatproof 172C/342F
  • polished will take off some details due to rounding corners

Ceramics – fired ceramic powder

  •  available finishes in white glossy, black glossy, black satin, avocado green glossy, pastel yellow glossy and eggshell blue glossy
  • minimum wall thickness of 0.3mm
  • max bounding box: 340x240x170mm AND x+y+z=<400mm
  • low strength, low detail, high smoothness, low flexibility, high glossiness, low transparency
  • FDA approved food safe material
  • watertight, not dishwasher safe, recyclable
  • heatproof 500C/932F
  • sandcastle rule – if this structure were made of sand, would it break?
  • your model should have a strong and obvious base
  • glazing adds thickness

Frosted Detail Plastic – UV cured acrylic polymer

  •  available finishes in frosted detail plastic and ultra frosted detail plastic
  • minimum wall thickness of 0.5mm for frosted detail plastic and 0.3mm for ultra frosted detail plastic
  • max bounding box: 298x185x203mm for frosted detail plastic and 127x178x152mm for ultra frosted detail plastic
  • low strength, high detail, high smoothness, medium flexibility, medium glossiness, medium transparency
  • watertight, NOT dishwasher safe, NOT recyclable, NOT foodsafe
  • heatproof to 80C/176F
  • minimum wall varies based on features
  • be sure to design big enough to escape holes for hollow parts
  • note how to design thin, supporting wires

Silver

  • available in silver and silver glossy finishes
  • minimum wall thickness of 0.6mm for silver and 0.8mm for glossy
  • max bounding box: 110x110x30mm
  • high strength, high detail, high smoothness, low flexibility, high glossiness, low transparency
  • watertight, dishwasher proof, recyclable
  • Heatproof 850C/1.562 F
  • designing details must not jut out too much, or have deep engravings
  • wires must be at least 0.8mm thick
  • ring bands should be 1mm thick

Stainless Steel 

  •  available finishes in stainless steel, bronze plated matte, bronze plated glossy, gold plated matte, gold plated glossy
  • minimum wall thickness of 3 mm
  • max bounding box: 100x450x250mm
  • high strength, low detail, medium smoothness, low flexibility, high glossiness, low transparency
  • watertight, dishwasher safe, not recyclable, not foodsafe
  • heatproof 831C/1528F
  • sandcastle rule: if this objects were made of sand, would it break?
  • hanging structures are more likely to break
  • walls under 3mm may be printable depending on your design’s structure

Strong & Flexible Plastics - laser sintered nylon plastic

  • available finishes in white, white polished, black, coral red polished, violet purple polished, hot pink polished, royal blue polished
  • minimum wall thickness 0.7mm
  • max bounding box: white 650x350x550mm, black 230x180x130mm, polished and dyed 150x150x150mm
  • high strength, high detail, medium smoothness, high flexibility, low glossiness, low transparency
  • NOT watertight, NOT dishwasher safe, NOT recyclable, NOT foodsafe
  • heatproof to 80C/176F
  • make sure your walls are above 0.7mm
  • prevent walls warping on a larger model
  • print lines or “stepping” may appear
