Game Design Club:
Like movie making, game design involves a lot of complicated processes, from programming the environment and character abilities to inventing the levels and point systems. These parts of game design and more will be covered in this 11 week course, using the game design software GameMaker. Your child will have the chance to work in a small group setting to discover more about the fascinating world of gaming.
Time: Mondays, September 24th – December 17th, 2012
Kids Session from 3: 15 pm – 4:45 pm, Teens Session from 5 – 6:30pm

time with our Principal Technician. Basic knowledge of creating objects in Blender is required.
Blender is a free and open-source 3D computer graphics software product used for creating animated films, visual effects, interactive 3D applications or video games. Blender’s features include 3D modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, rigging and skinning, fluid and smoke simulation, particle simulation, animating, match moving, camera tracking, rendering, video editing and compositing. It also features a built-in game engine.
Time: December 3rd and 5th, 6:30-8:30pm. Eventbrite only lists December 3rd, but you are signing up for BOTH dates when you register, as this is a two session class.
