Here’s your hands-on opportunity to experience the fundamentals of graphic design, architecture, product development, and biological processes using a variety of open-source software applications, including Sketchup, Inkscape and Blender. We’ll spend 11 weeks using the MakersFactory machinery to 3-D print and laser-cut lamps, cards, toys, and stickers plus use the laptop computers onsite to create animations and models. Animation Club:
There’s a lot of roles involved in making an animated short — story artist, set designer, and character animator to name a few. Here’s your chance to learn what it takes to truly animate a movie. Working in a supportive team environment, you’ll create models, landscapes, rigging and animated movements for a final group project. The course runs 11 weeks and uses the open-source software application Blender to create the project. Join us for an adventure of creativity.
