MakersFactory is heading off site! This is an mobile lab program with Westlake Elementary. We head over to WestLake and teach children after school ends.
Students will be learning how to create forms for 2-dimensional cutting using Inkscape (projects created will be laser cut offsite). Sketchup will be used to introduce students to 3D modeling and try their hands at architecture. Next we’ll use Blender to create models (for 3D extrusion printing) and an animation. Depending on time, we’ll have an opportunity to explore arduino-based robots.
